After all the December treats, it’s time to start the year off healthy! That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy delicious food. This healthy banana split makes for a wonderfully guilt-free breakfast.
Ingredients (serves 2):
• 2 bananas
• 100g quark (or Greek yogurt)
• 25g mixed raw, unsalted nuts
• 20g dark chocolate
• 2 tbsp muesli
• 2 tsp peanut butter
• 2 tsp shredded coconut (optional)
• Extra fruit (optional)
Preparation:

Peel the bananas, slice them lengthwise, and place them on a plate.

Chop the nuts into small pieces.

Melt the chocolate together with the peanut butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds.

Spoon the quark onto the bananas and sprinkle with muesli and chopped nuts. Add extra fruit if desired.

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the bananas and finish with a sprinkle of coconut.
