Organize your goals, tasks, and daily activities in a creative and relaxing way. Curious about how it works?
A bullet journal (or BuJo) is a planner, diary, and to-do list all in one. It’s a method to structure your tasks, appointments, deadlines, and thoughts—all with just a notebook and a pen.
What does a bullet journal look like?
Here’s a great example of how it can look and how to start one:

What do you need to get started?
-
Buy a bullet journal (or any notebook you like)
-
Supplies to personalize it: colored markers, stickers, gel pens, etc.
Where to begin?
-
Start by gathering some inspiration. Look on Pinterest or Instagram and pick elements that you want to include in your journal.
-
Create an index that will list the page numbers of your journal sections.
-
Make a list of “keys”: small icons you place before your bullets to quickly identify tasks, notes, or events.
-
A bullet journal follows a funnel system: After your index and keys, start with a yearly overview. Then create a monthly log, followed by a weekly overview. If you like, you can also add a daily log.
What can you include in your bullet journal?
Here are some examples:
-
Books you want to read
-
Your goals for 2024
-
A bucket list
-
Inspirational quotes
-
Series/movies to watch
-
A wish list
In short
Whether you have a packed schedule, crave creativity, or need organized chaos—bullet journaling can help. It’s not just about planning your days, but also about celebrating your achievements, recording memories, and nurturing personal growth.
